Original / Romaji Lyrics | English Translation |
---|---|
Dakishimete tsukamaete mou hanasanai de | Embracing me, catch me and never leave me |
Hitogomi ni anata no yasashisa kanjite Namida no ashiato sae kiete shimau mae ni Anata to ita jikan wo mou ichido tashikamete | I can feel your kindness amongst the crowd of people Before even the traces of my tears disappear I'm confirming the time I had with you just once more |
Dakishimete tsukamaete mou hanasanai de | Embrace me, catch me and never leave me |
Todokanai omoi dake ga nagarete yuku Ashita to ato sukoshi no yuuki sae areba Anata to ita tobira wo mou ichido hirakitai | Only my unrealized feelings flow by If only I had a little more than the courage of tomorrow I would like to open the door with you just once more |
Nukumori ga kienai you ni Kono mune ga sakeru hodo kanjite itakute | It's like your warmth hasn't disappeared I want to feel it so much that this heart is being torn |
Ano hi wo omoidasu (wasurenai) Hajimete KISU shita kono omoi wo (kono mama) Kaze yo uh tsutaete... | I'll remember that day (I won't forget) I've had this feeling since our first (like this) Winds, uh, let him know... |
Dakishimete tsukamaete mou hanasanai de La la la... | Embrace me, catch me and never leave me La la la... |
Many people I know tend to know this song by the title "Winds, Let Him Know", so, I have translated the title as such. If it was more literal, it would be something like "Winds, Convey It". I usually translate all my songs in a very literal way so that people understand the true meaning and manner of speaking of them. However, with this song, I have used more equivalents in some parts.
It took me a while to find these kanji lyrics.... I did brake the romanji up into different paragraphs where it changes from verse to chorus.
Where it says the "uh" part, it actually sounds more like "oo".
The title of this song you can actually also find written either entirely in kanji/kana or with "kaze" written in romaji. There are several different versions of this song. I read that there are approximately 8.
"Ashiato" actually means footprints, but I translated it as traces....
